Canberra stuff...
For those who don't know, Kieran is back in Canberra and back in the public service as of Monday. He's not quite sure where he's living or any other details about his life at this point. If you email him on kieran.oleary@apex.net.au he'll probably tell you how to find him and anything else he's found out since then.
We'll tell you all the other news about our life just as soon as we have some idea what it is.
Other than that, we went for a bit of a roadtrip across the NZ Southern Alps from Christchurch and down the West Coast last week. Absolutely spectacular, as always, climbed up to Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers, wandered around Lake Matheson, gawked at amazingly coloured West Coast glacier-fed rivers and strolled through beautiful green beech forests. Oh, and amazingly enough for a place that gets 4 metres of rain a year, it was hot and sunny and we got sunburnt. Kinda nice really. No photos just yet because the digital was in for repairs and we haven't gotten around to scanning in the photos that we took on the SLR. Trust us, they're pretty.
